Linux Mint 20.2 Beta Is Now Publically Available for Download and Test with cinnamon version 5.0, Mate 1.24, Xfce 4.16 and lots of new changes and bug fixes.
Recently Linux Mint Announced their Linux Mint 20.2 “uma” version and today their beta version is available to download and test, we all know Linux Mint is best and user-friendly operating system for windows switchers, Linux mint 20.2 “uma” is based on Ubuntu 20.04.2 version which was providing stable and classic usability with cinnamon 5.0 (official Linux mint flagship) desktop environment.
Linux Mint 20.2 “uma” also works great with their mate 1.24 version and Xfce 4.16 version community version, (personally I’m prefer Linux mint cinnamon version), version 20.2 comes with rock solid stability with lots of bug fix and including some new apps like Bulky File renamed, which was used for bulk file rename
brand-new app as part of Linux Mint’s XApps initiative, called Bulky (a.k.a. File Renamer), which can be used to bulk rename files. The Bulky app is available in the Cinnamon and MATE editions, since the Xfce edition comes with a built-in file renamer in the Thunder file manager.
Linux Mint 20.2 also comes with an updated Warpinator app updated nvidia-prime-applet package that features support for computers with AMD/NVIDIA hybrids graphics
