The release of the computer role-playing game Veloren 0.11 , written in the Rust language and using voxel graphics, has been published. The project is being inspired by games such as Cube World, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Dwarf Fortress and Minecraft. Binary assemblies are built for Linux, macOS and Windows. The code is released under the GPLv3 license.
The new version implements the accumulation of mining skills, added new habitats for non-player characters (NPCs), appeared warnings before entering the battle of non-player characters, implemented a pop-up debug interface (HUD), added saving information about pets before release, proposed an experimental mode generation of permanent terrain, added a system for generating small structures, such as holes, improved AI bosses, expanded opportunities related to the generation of graphics in real time.
